The count numbers are not instantly updated. Below is how the count will work for the following friend/follower amounts:
- Users with below 1,100 friends or followers are updated every 10 minutes.
- Users with 1,101 - 10,000 friends or followers are updated every 30 minutes.
- Users with over 10,000 friends or followers are updated every hour.
Note that if a user has over 1,000 friends or followers the numbers will display as “1.2k” or “23.4k.”
